Corel PhotoMirage is a new product from the software company Corel, which converts images into “mirages”, adding motion to elements such as water or clouds. The user only needs to select the items he wants to animate, isolate them from the rest of the image, and then save the final product in GIF, WMV or MP4 format.
In the past few years, the creation of animated or live photos has become quite popular. To create them, there are several ways, and, for example, often in the process uses Adobe After Effects. But Corel decided to simplify the process as much as possible with the help of its new product Corel PhotoMirage.
Corel PhotoMirage Feature:
Corel PhotoMirage does not require video recordings, it is the animation of one static image “in three steps”. The software is designed to create moving images “in a matter of minutes” – allowing the user to select the speed and direction of movement using the arrows. Unlike cinematography, video is not used as a basis here. Everything is done from one photo. And here there is no participation of artificial intelligence. The program simply “grabs” individual points and transfers to another place, mixing with the others.
Corel PhotoMirage supports basic image formats, such as JPEG, BMP, GIF, TIFF, PNG and over 450 RAW formats. Export is done in GIF, WMV, H.264 and HEVC (Windows 10 is required). The program itself runs on Windows OS starting with Windows 7 and all subsequent ones. The resulting image can be viewed, then saved or shared directly on platforms such as Instagram, in social. networks or by e-mail.
