Who the heck is this frog guy???
Howdy. My name is Scott Robinson. I am a herpetological addict. I have been since I can remember. From the time I was able to compose complete and coherent sentences I have been a biologist at heart. I was always bringing home one animal or another; much to my parent’s dismay. A stray dog here, a lost tortoise there, even a wild goose. I graduated from that into surveying, collecting, and breeding frogs and toads in California. Then it was on to other things that teenage life brings about. You know, girls, parties, reckless teenage stuff….
I have been lucky enough to meet many wonderful people in my journeys. I have raised and bred dart frogs for the Aquarium of the Pacific, bred geckos, fought to improve living conditions of animals at the slaughterhouse known as Petco. Now I study biology, read all I can about amphibians, maintain my website, and enjoy the heck out of my wonderful wife and 5 kids.
I do talks about amphibians at local schools and am in the process of getting in with and doing educational talks for the Phoenix Zoo, in Arizona.
Life is great!
I mentioned making lots of friends and meeting great people. I have the pleasure of knowing the fine folks at Amphibian Ark, Save the Frogs, Amphibian Rescue and Conservation Project, and have a wonderful following of Twitter and Facebook buddies with which I chat with regularly.

I also help people from all over the globe with amphibian questions online and even online aquatic animal questions.
Please feel free to leave a comment, email me about great new ideas, or just say hi.
