sticker-vancouver-kerryDr. Kerry Kriger is the Founder and Executive Director of
SAVE THE FROGS!, a nonprofit organization dedicated to amphibian conservation. Dr. Kriger holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Science from Griffith University in Gold Coast, Australia, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA.

His current research focuses on the amphibian disease chytridiomycosis, a topic on which he has published 15 articles in peer-reviewed international scientific journals. His research into amphibian declines has been supported by the National Geographic Society and various philanthropic organizations throughout the world.

Dr. Kriger has lectured on amphibians worldwide, at venues such as the Boston Museum of Science, Defenders of Wildlife, the National Geographic Society, the World Congress of Herpetology and the Joint Meeting of Ichthyologists and Herpetologists.

Dr. Kerry Kriger is also an avid photographer who has created educational calendars and posters featuring his wildlife photography, and whose frog photographs are featured throughout the savethefrogs.com website, which he created and maintains.

He is also a well-respected musician who has studied, performed and taught the classical music of northern India for over a decade. He has recorded several CDs featuring his bamboo flute and drums, and has written a 200-page book of musical compositions.
